For the third consecutive year Gillingham Pools has received an award at the SPATA Awards.   This year we are thrilled to have scooped 3 awards - 2 x Golds and 1 x Silver....

                                            Local swimming pool company make a splash at annual industry awards

Gillingham Pools based in Vale, Guernsey , is celebrating after collecting gold and silver at the prestigious SPATA Awards last night (Sunday 7 February). Gillingham Pools won gold and silver for ‘Best Concrete Pools up to £60,000’ and took home another gold for ‘Best Non Traditional Pool Installations’ in recognition of the company’s outstanding design and construction.

The Swimming Pool Allied Trade Association (SPATA) Awards were held at the Brighton Hilton Hotel where SPATEX, the UK ’s largest swimming pool and hot tub exhibition, is currently holding its 14^th annual trade show.

The awards, organised by SPATA, who represent approximately 200 specialist pool building companies across the UK, with some overseas members, highlights the achievements of the pool industry by showcasing the best examples of construction, design and innovation.

Chris Hayes, Managing Director of the SPATA says “This year was the 34th year of the SPATA Awards, which once again proved to be more popular than previous years, creating tough competition for the judges with a shortlist of 91 entries across 22 categories.  The Awards profile some excellent work from our members and demonstrates the value of choosing a SPATA member to build or renovate your pool.

“This event sees companies from across the UK gather to showcase their most innovative products.  We were delighted to recognise so many of the industry’s hard working companies, these award winners demonstrate that swimming pools and spas bring more to the home than simply leisure; they can be a way to keep healthy, have fun with the children as well as have a focus for relaxation with family and friends.”
